Divorce is the
legal ending of a marriage. The
divorce process
typically includes: termination of a marriage, allocating parental rights
and responsibilities, ordering the payment of child support, ordering the
payment of spousal support, providing for the division of marital
property, distributing marital debts and assets, and dealing with the
emotional concerns of those involved. Blended family also known as
a stepfamily, occurs when two people marry and have at least one child who
is the biological child of only one parent. Resolving conflicts and power
struggles associated with his and her children can be a challenging.
